Former Durban Heights Primary and Durwest Primary Schools have officially joined forces as Reservoir Hills Primary.
In a beautiful ceremony held on 10 April 2024, the former Durban Heights Primary and Durwest Primary Schools officially united under a new banner - Reservoir Hills Primary School.
This momentous occasion culminated over a decade of successful merging between the two institutions.
The atmosphere crackled with excitement as students, faculty, alumni, and community members gathered to celebrate this new chapter.
The ceremony served as a poignant tribute to the rich history of both Durban Heights and Durwest, while also looking towards the bright future that awaits Reservoir Hills Primary.
"The renaming ceremony holds immense sentimental value for all involved," shared Mrs. Nomsa Thabethe, the school principal.
It's a chance to acknowledge the significant milestones achieved through this merger and showcase the unity and progress that lies ahead for Reservoir Hills Primary.
The event itself was a vibrant celebration filled with music, speeches and a sense of shared purpose.
