A number of heartbreaking incidents have been shocking families all over South Africa.

In light of the recent incidents that have taken place at taverns around the country, we have decided to start the conversation on issues surrounding the industry.
Before we jump into that, here's a quick recap of the three big tavern incidents that have sparked this outrage.
- Enyobeni Tavern

Four people died after unknown men opened fire at patrons at a tavern in Sweetwaters in Pietermaritzburg.

As mentioned in the voice note above, J Sbu is highly concerned at the way that tavern owners are going about their business.
He talks about how the community is involved and should be holding each other accountable for this epidemic.
J Sbu says: "Just because it's not happening in your community yet doesn't mean that you can't stand up and do something."

These incidents relate to the ongoing safety concerns around KZN.
