Let's set the scene... so you and your person are in a very committed relationship, things are going well, and now is the time for you to meet the parents.
Anxiety, panic attacks - the works. What will I wear? What will we talk about? Will they find me funny? Should I not say too much? Do I smell good? What if they they don't like my food? What if I don't like his mother's cooking?
Meeting the in-laws or your partner's parents is always a make or break moment, because your relationship will not survive a bad encounter.
