Kanye West's friend says he's so ahead of the times he'll learn "alien language"

There is no doubt that Kanye West is one of the most celebrated, respected, talented, and controversial stars of this generation.

Often referred to as a "genius" by close friends, fellow collaborators, and himself, things started to go a bit south for the rapper of the last decade.
He was being called out for his behaviour in the public eye and eventually in 2016 he revealed that he has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder and that he does not medicate.

This seemingly explained a lot of his actions over the last few years and even his wife, Kim Kardashian, has had to defend some of his actions.
But in the last year, things have gotten worse and weirder.

At the start of 2021, news broke of his divorce and that he and Kim were no longer really in contact.
The next big thing for the artist? Teasing his fans and the music industry with a new album.

Kanye said he would be releasing "DONDA' and has held two "listening" parties, but is yet to deliver on his promise of a new album.
He's been living in the Mercedes Benz Stadium in his hometown of Atlanta and has even live-streamed a day in his life.

But as mentioned, he is yet to drop what can only be described as the most anticipated album of 2021.
Once again, Kanye is going through a lot of ups and a lot of downs. And it, as always, has us asking the question: What is going on inside this man's mind?

Now one of his good friends and celebrity designer, Ben Baller, has spoken about Kanye in an interview and it's provided some insight into who Kanye really is as a person.
And it's just as strange as you would imagine.

Talking to the Daily Star newspaper, Baller explained that he thought Kanye was a "misunderstood genius".
He's so many light years ahead of people that just having a normal conversation with him is difficult. You can't sit there and be like, 'Do you want some coffee?' He'd be like, 'What the f*** are you talking about?'

His most interesting revelation was that Kanye can't have a normal conversations, but that's all good because he is also surprised that the rapper doesn't speak an alien language yet.
He also confirmed that Kanye likes to be in control and has an incredible work ethic:
Kanye is not really much of anyone to sit back. He is like the director, the producer, the DP, you name it - the key grip, everything. He takes control of everything. He wants to know everything about everything. He really is misunderstood and he is a good dude. Whatever it is, he's a passionate person. I think because he's so passionate, other people might not match his passion.

While we're not sure about the alien language part, what we did learn from this information is that the new 'DONDA' album could still be a while.
