It's dry, but you can drink it.

We don't know the depths our alcohol can take people because we are used to our South African favourites.

One of the most iconic ciders from our country that has set many off their trails is Savanna

We heard an American speak about the aftermath of this cider a few months ago and now, we see a Jamaican TikToker issue a public warning.

In the video, we see Anna Novia chat about her visit to South Africa and how she encountered this misleading alcoholic beverage that she didn't give enough credit to.

She tells fellow Jamaicans to never underestimate Savanna. After going out with her friends to a restaurant she had just two Savanna ciders and didn't expect this 'apple cider' to affect her the way it did.

If you don't already know cider is a fermented alcoholic beverage that is made with fruits. Now, traditionally, ciders are not meant to have a harsh effect on people drinking them and are not considered hard liquor.

But this cider is considered to be premium, as the label reads so, Anna's reaction was just a small indication that we should never judge a book by its cover.
