From 'National Pink Day' to 'No Work Day', Mzansi's creativity knows no bounds..
South Africa is fortunate to have many public holidays to celebrate or commemorate pivotal moments in the history of our country.
But clearly one can never have too many days to lay about and do nothing, and in the spirit of laziness, Stacey and J Sbu have reached out to East Coasters on National Make Up Your Own Holiday Day.
The dynamic duo took to Facebook to ask ECR listeners what their make-believe public holiday would be called.

Here are some of the awesome suggestions as seen in the Facebook post above:
- Help an animal day- where you have to go out and help any animals
- Mental Awareness Day - assist at any medical vicinity or clinic and go and read to the patients, play games with them, listen to them when they speak to you and just be a friend to them
- Homeless Awareness Day - help to secure homes for the needy, make sure the homes are liveable, cosy and have.all the facilities for them to use
- Judgement Day- where people don't judge one and the other
- Dance day- Just play music and dance the day away
- My Day- cause it's all about ME!!!
- Disability day - This is to recognise people born with disabilities and to show them that we appreciate their existence
- Self Care day- A day where everyone takes time out of their busy schedules to be present in their own lives and to really look after their mental and physical well being.
- Chocolate Ice-Cream Day- self explanatory
- Heavens Day- A day where we can celebrate the lives of the people who have passed on. A day to remember..
- Grandfathers and Grandmother's Day-because there are more important in our life's
