How tight are you with your teacher from back in the day?
We all have that one teacher who positively influenced our life.
No matter how old we get, if you pass them in a shop or on the street, chances are you will recognise them.
Others keep in touch via Facebook, WhatsApp, LinkedIn etc.
Stacey and J Sbu decided to call up their favourite teachers and here's how it went...

Teachers make such an impact on us. A new survey states that six in ten parents claim they can name every teacher they had in their childhood.
J Sbu says that his teacher gave him the best gift of all - believing in him.
"The lessons you learn at a young age from a teacher can last a lifetime," says Stacey Norman.

Similarly, recognising teachers who positively impact us is important.
Oprah Winfrey emphasised this when she congratulated University of Cape Town (UCT) Vice-Chancellor, Professor Mamokgethi Phakeng, for winning the inaugural Africa Education Medal.
“It is an honour recognising leaders who have a positive impact on education, I don’t know anyone else who deserves it more."
