Emergency services were called after an unsuspecting man named Somchai felt something bite him in the behind whilst he was in the bathroom. This happened in Thailand.

The huge 8ft-long python's head was peering out of the toilet bowl.

Somchai, fearing for his life, tried to catch the snake before quickly calling for back up, describing the ordeal the man shared: "I sat down then felt something push against my bottom, that’s when I looked down and saw the snake".

The rescue team arrived on the scene and at first observed the snake's behaviour before the reptile raised its head out of the toilet seat.

Two days after the snakes rescue, emergency services were called again, this time to capture a 10-foot long python from another toilet bowl.

Seven firefighters were needed to successfully capture the large reptile before releasing it in the wild.
