How often do you change your underwear?

How often do you change your underwear?

Uh, what do you mean, every day...

Underwear...

Usually, it is a sexy topic, but it can also be a super disgusting topic; we guess that depends on the circumstance. But as the saying goes, what happens in the bedroom should stay there...

Not for this woman. After recently moving in with her partner, she discovered something 'strange' about his underwear patterns. Underwear habits might be different for men and women, but for the most part, you should be on the same page about hygiene habits, right?

If you are staying together, we would hope so.

She noticed that her partner had a 'strange' pattern when changing his underwear.

The woman explained: “I have since discovered that he only changes his underwear after he showers in the evening and doesn’t replace them with a new pair each morning after sleeping in them." (Ladbible)

His pattern differed from her belief that you should change your underwear each time you get dressed for the day, i.e. every morning.

She obviously felt she could not speak to him about this, so she turned to the Mumsnet’s Am I Being Unreasonable forum.

But perhaps there is a deeper issue here; having just moved in together, they are still learning to get to know one another as roommates.

That's a big deal in any relationship. Starting that relationship by not communicating with him isn't the way to go. Perhaps he can explain his logic to her? It may not be the explanation she wants, but it opens up the communication lines when living with your partner.
