The cost of good food is worth all the money in the world... or is it?

We were stunned when we heard how much Mzansi celebrity DJ Zinhle paid for a burger in Dubai.

The cost of living in Dubai clearly does not fit into her budget.

As seen above, if you're feeling for a delicious burger, then you need to fork out that cash-money-dollar. 

With an absurd conversion rate, it's a no-brainer that the internet is shook when we learn of these prices.

One South African who resides in USA has shared her experience with us on TikTok.

@Zara_mota is not alone. Not only do South Africans spend big bucks overseas but here in South Africa as well.

We decided to ask our listeners on Facebook how much they have spent on a burger.

On average, our listeners have reported that a burger from overseas costs R300.

Others have reported that they can eat a burger in South Africa for between R30 and R60.

This jump in cost has us jumping out our seats. The next time you order a burger, make sure to take a look at the cost first.
