Let's talk about men and mental health.
A lot of you might be wondering "Why is there an International Men's Day?"

As the official website states:
On November 19 International Men’s Day celebrates worldwide the positive value men bring to the world, their families and communities. We highlight positive role models and raise awareness of men’s well-being. One of the six pillars of International Men’s Day is to improve gender relations and promote gender equality not only for men but for women too. In this light our theme for 2021 is “Better relations between men and women.- InternationalMensDay.com

The main focus when celebrating International Men's Day is mental health.
Toxic masculinity, societal expectations and norms have made human beings believe that men aren't allowed to acknowledge their deeper feelings, that they aren't allowed to express their more feminine side, that there are certain expectations set for them as men, and the list goes on.

These types of pressures can have a serious and lasting effect on anyone's mental health, whether you are a man or a woman.
We always ask "how are you?" but we never take the time to listen.

We always answer with an "I'm good, how about you?" even though we really aren't.
Today, J Sbu opened up about how he was truly feeling mentally in a conversation with Stacey as they also discussed accountability in social settings, J Sbu's relationship with his father and his son, as well as diving deep into the topic of men's allyship to women.
