DJ Zinhle responds to speculation about her friendship with Pearl Thusi
Updated | By Poelano Malema
Social media users are convinced DJ Zinhle wants nothing to do with Pearl Thusi after a video emerged showing her giving Pearl the cold shoulder.
DJ Zinhle and Pearl Thusi are trending on Twitter.
This time around, there is a video to support the long-standing social media belief that the two are no longer best friends.
In the video that has since gone viral, DJ Zinhle was seen performing at Nomuzi 'Moozlie' Mabena's birthday party when Pearl came to join her. To many Tweeps' surprise, Zinhle can be seen dismissing Pearl with a hand gesture before asking DJ Brandon to do something on the mixing desk. This led to Pearl quietly leaving Zinhle in peace after receiving the cold shoulder.

Many social media users saw the video as proof that Zinhle wants nothing to do with Pearl.
"Yoh DJ Zinhle couldn’t even pretend with Pearl Thusi," read the caption of the video.
"Pearl Thusi should let this friendship squad go and stop forcing herself in it. Clearly DJ Zinhle is over her," another user wrote.
However, Cassper Nyovest said the video is not proof that there is beef between the two ladies.
"Zinhle was clearly asking Brandon to come Play or pick a song. Brandon is a Dj now. She does this all the time. Pushing agenda. That's why there's no audio," he wrote on Twitter.
In July, Pearl took to social media to dismiss the rumours that her relationship with DJ Zinhle is over.
"Guys- Zee and I are still very much friends. Can this nonsense stop now," she wrote.

DJ Zinhle responds
Zinhle has denied that she was being rude to Pearl.
She took to Twitter to set the record straight.
"Hey guys. I need to clear things up. Pearl & I had a great time & on the video you saw, I was gesturing to Brandon, whom I was playing a set with, to come & select the song cause we were using his USBs," she wrote.
"Also. Why would Pearl smile when she walked away if I was being mean to her?," she added.
Lastly, she asked social media users to stop "vilifying" her.
"Please stop vilifying me… STOP!," she wrote on Twitter.
