#GirlCrush: Rowlene drops her new album

You may recognise her voice and her face from the smash hit of her 'big brother', Nasty C, titled, 'SMA'. Rowlene is now riding solo and by the sound of things, she is destined for greatness!
She has been crafting her talent for a good two decades, every note and register has been honed and toned, all the edges have been polished, and she is ready for take off!
This is Rowlene, a singer and songwriter born in Cape Town and signed under rapper Nasty C's 'Tall Racks' record company.

Rowlene's album titled, '11:11', is set to shake up the industry. I managed to catch up with her earlier today to chat about the excitement of her album release.
I feel the music should speak for itself. It took me so long to drop, we have been announcing for the last year and a half and now we are finally here- Rowlene
Rowlene says she had become antisocial while working on the music. She wanted her album to be a compilation of a playlist that she could listen to as well as the next person, and so the process to curate the songs was meticulous and diligent perfected over a year.
Her lead single from the album is 'On Stop', with which she worked with a bunch of writers from all over the country. The song, according to Rowlene, is about:
Stop is about understanding one’s purpose and role and how indispensable you may be- Rowlene
I am obsessed with Rowlene's voice and her style equally!
