EXCLUSIVE: Rich Mnisi chats career, the future, and the LGBTIQA+ community
Updated | By Stacey and JSbu
He is known for being "The most beautiful man in South Africa" or as Bonang Matheba once framed him, "Rich ma-2million Mnisi". One thing is certain, though - Rich Mnisi is a fashion maverick!
His African luxury designs are worn by local and international celebrities and high-income earners.

In less than six years in the industry, Rich Mnisi has established himself and his business, becoming a household name. He recently shared his journey at the Nedbank YouthX engagement platform, sharing the strides he has made in the fashion industry and with his brand from his start in September 2015.

Mnisi's high-end brand is often compared to, by many South Africans, brands like Chanel, Louis Vuitton, and Gucci, mainly because of its quality and most definitely because of the price tag the merchandise comes with.
This has often caused many to critique Mnisi's business model.
This does not seem to deter Mnisi. He understands that his product may not be accessible for all in terms of pricing, but he also knows that there is a market for what he does, which he caters for.
Stacey had the chance to catch up with Rich on the back end of Pride Month and Rich's collaboration with Adidas.
The Adidas Pride collection seeks to honour the LGBTQ+ community. Two South African designers were earmarked to partner with Adidas, one of which was Mnisi.

So beautiful!
There is so much more to Rich Mnisi then beautiful clothes and you can hear it here in his interview with Stacey Norman.
The two chat about everything (clothes included), but also really important matters such as the rise of LGBTIQA+ killings and how you and I can be allies for this community.
