Finally, we are seeing an Afrikaans drama being showcased on the streaming platform knows as Netflix.
South African television presenter, Anele Mdoda, is one of the co-producers of this exciting series.

This first ever Afrikaans Netflix drama tells the tale of a family man in the affluent Pretoria East area, with a huge secret that is connected to the underworld.
It is a six episode series that follows the story of Daan Ludik, portrayed by South African Hollywood star Arnold Vosloo.
Netflix shares: “Guns are fired, diamonds are stolen, relationships are tested as Daan Ludik’s whole world is under fire in Netflix’s first Afrikaans seriesset to premiere on 26 August 2022.”
