In April, Mbali applied for a restraining order against Black Coffee, with whom she has two children.
On the 12th of April 2021, Mbali went to the Randburg Magistrate’s Court to file a protection order against her former husband, Entle was quoted outside the courthouse saying:
It is my duty as a woman to not only fight for myself but for every single woman in South Africa. The time is now- Enhle Mbali Mlotshwa
Entle was joined by activists outside the court, who showed up to support her application. The activists showed up with banners displaying #JusticeForEnhle, #HandsOffEnhle and #AmINext?

Taking to her Instagram account, Enhle posted a video where she tells her followers how she had been protecting her ex for a long time and had been physically abused by the DJ in the home they shared.
I have been protecting this man for far too long…this man lied in the court of law saying he went under my arm as tall as he is, knowing very well that he hit me, struck my hand twice and then pushed me of our marital home- Enhle Mbali Mlotshwa
That is not where it ends, though. Entle continues to share that her ex-husband had been psychologically messing with her children to the extent that her son had become emotionally affected by his parents' divorce.
He called my children telling them to stop the case. My child was crying, telling me that he no longer feels like a child any more because of the voice and because he has new siblings and so many other things.- Enhle Mbali Mlotshwa
A teary-eyed Entle, ends her video by sharing that she will be holding a press conference where she will be bringing evidence to prove her statements and to show that her ex-husband lied in court.
