Despite this hilarious intrusion, the cameraman continued to record when Harris' mother pulled up in her car behind her son while he was doing his job.
This takes helicopter parenting to a whole new level.
Harris threw up his hands and shook his head when his mother suddenly arrived at the scene and barged in on his news report.
"That's my mom. Hold on," the confused reporter said while turning to the camera.
"Hi, baby," the mom said to her son while also giving a shoutout to the cameraman.
Harris appeared to be slightly embarrassed by the unexpected encounter.
"Don't be holding up traffic because you got cars behind you," the reporter said, while trying to get his mother out of the picture as soon as possible.

So, in turn, maybe he should be thanking his mom or get her to come say "Hi baby" to him more often?

Making light of the whole interaction, Harris joked that this wasn't out of the ordinary for his mom.
"Typical Sandi ," he captioned the instagram video.
"What a blessing to share such a joyful moment," the cameraman wrote. "So happy I captured this and mama Sandi came by to show some love!! @mylestharris has a great mom!"
