As a lift service driver, you often get into very interesting situations, go on many unexpected trips, and meet extremely interesting characters…

However, this trip was unlike anything anyone in Mzansi has experienced before.

A KZN taxi driver with a crippling fear of snakes got the shock of his life after he accepted a ride from a local passenger and one of the world's deadliest creatures.

A R35 trip from Hillcrest to Waterfall shared by a driver, a passenger, and a green anaconda.

“Even Nicki Minaj didn’t holler an Uber with her anaconda,” says one user.

The slithery sidekick was accompanied by well-known YouTube wildlife presenter, Dingo Dinkelman

Driver, Nkanyiso Sithole, received the “quick and easy” request for the trip and had absolutely no way of knowing what fate awaited him.

It may have been quick, but no doubt that trip felt like a lifetime when trapped inside a car with a creature this size!

The wildlife conservationist and adventurer is an award-winning Discovery Channel presenter who wanted to see how many e-hailing drivers would stop to transport the duo.

In an effort to educate people about snakes, this endeavour was successful as numerous drivers can be seen accepting the ride.

According to the driver. "Uber encourages riders who are planning to ride with a non-service animal, to contact the driver who accepts their ride request to alert them of their non-service animal. Riders can use the app to send a text message or call to let the driver know they'd like to bring a non-service animal."

With everything going on lately, we are surprised that the drivers accepted the trip.

Who knows what else is in store for this maverick... snakes on a plane?
