'Durban to Cape Town route suspended temporarily': Lift Airlines

Lift Airlines will be temporarily suspending its flight route between Durban and Cape Town over the winter period.
Lift Airlines recently shared a statement revealing that they will be suspending flights between Cape Town and Durban for about a month.
According to Travel News, a spokesperson shared a statement revealing that the company is revising their schedule and temporarily pausing the route between Cape Town and Durban.The route will be suspended between 7 May and 12 June. Lift explained that they are in the process of notifying all passengers and have re-accommodated passengers on the closest alternative flights.
The flights between Cape Town and Durban are expected to resume as of 13 June 2024.
Their aim is to minimise the impact on travellers by assisting them with any changes that are necessary.
“Over the winter period, we have taken the decision to revise our schedule and temporarily pause our route between Cape Town and Durban, between May 7 and June 12,” the statement read.
The Durban and Joburg and Joburg and Cape Town routes will be fully operational during this period.
It is unclear if the suspension of this route will continue in the years to come during this period.
