Drive with Stacey: A successful wrap-up
Laurel Timber, Juwairiyyah Sheikh, and Stacey Norman have been on an inspiring journey to get their driver's licences – and they all successfully passed this month!
Last year, Stacey Norman invited two people to join her on the journey to learn how to drive. Laurel Timber and Juwairiyyah Sheikh, the winners of Drive with Stacey, recently passed their driver's licences alongside Stacey.
Reflecting on finally getting her licence, shared, "I must admit, when my lessons firstly started, it was very scary. I was extremely nervous, but as my lessons progressed, I got more confident.”
Laurel, on the other hand, explained why she took the leap: “ There was a position at work that I wanted to apply for, but I needed a driver's licence.”
Juwairiyyah and Laurel worked hard with Omar and Leslie from Omar’s Driving School to ensure they were ready and prepared to do their licences.
Now, with their licences in hand, Stacey and these determined, empowered women are ready to hit the road!
We've been privileged to be part of their journey – from hearing their stories about why they never got their licences to celebrating their success.
