Updated | By Stacey and JSbu
Two months ago, Demi Lovato announced to the world that she was engaged to boyfriend, Max Ehrich. Unfortunately, like with many Hollywood couples, there is no fairytale ending.

E! Online has confirmed reports that Demi and Max have ended their engagement. It was widely reported that Max proposed to the singer with a ring worth almost $1-million.

Speculation of a break-up were escalated this week when super fans of Demi noticed that a lot of close friends of the singer and family members had unfollowed Max on social media. Including Demi's sister, Dallas.
The relationship between the two seemed to move very quickly, as Max moved into Demi's LA pad during quarantine in the US in March. By June 28th, Demi was quoted on various publications chatting about how strong their love had become.

There have been public cracks in the relationship, though. Earlier this month, it was alleged that Max said that Selena Gomez was prettier than Demi in a social media post. Demi was quick to defend her man, saying the following:
So while on one hand I understand and have compassion for those who are so horrified at the reality of 2020 that they gotta distract themselves with doctored images in order to not focus on how bad these times are—but on the other hand, if you aren't 13 years old trying to grasp the reality of right now, put on your adult underpants and write about what actually matters. Please- Demi Lovato
Demi Lovato is yet to confirm the break-up news publicly.
