The claws are out between Keli and Beyoncé in a row over sampling...

As you can see, Kelis fired some shots at B and her team for allegedly failing to ask permission to sample her 1999 song "Get Along With You."
With the ongoing sampling and royalty issues in the industry, Kelis is pulling out all the stops to "getting what's hers."
Kelis was made aware of the song sample after an instagram fan post confirmed that the 'Renaissance' team will use her song for "Energy".

"My mind is blown too because the level of disrespect and utter ignorance of all 3 parties involved is astounding. I heard about this the same way everyone else did. Nothing is ever as it seems, some of the people in this business have no soul or integrity and they have everyone fooled."- Kelis
Kelis later stated that she believes this is "not a collab, it is theft."
As one can imagine, her comments sparked outrage on social media and left a dark cloud hanging over Beyonce's much-anticipated album release.

Many say the incident has made Kelis relevant again and - ahem - brought her milkshake back to the yard.
Although many fans are upset with this turn of events, they are hoping that the team behind the album will right their wrongs and acknowledge the sample of Kelis' song.
Representatives for Beyoncé, Kelis, and The Neptunes did not immediately respond to a request for comment from international news sources.
