On Monday night, Stacey & J Sbu came across the following confession:
I have recently gained weight and have been thinking about restricting my diet. I used to do it but despite being skinny I never felt healthy. I feel like my current form is not beautiful to most people. I'm conflicted on what I should do.- Confession
As you can imagine, this particular situation is something many people can relate to.
"Don’t put what men find attractive over your own personal health," says one social media user.
Stacey and J Sbu reached out to East Coasters about their thoughts on the matter.
Many od the Instagram comments offered some interesting insight for this personal situation.
One user said: "Girl please. Do things for yourself not for men. Let's not base our value off of mens perceptions of our body and if we meet their unrealistic beauty standard. Also DON'T restrict your food at all. There’s a much healthier way to lose stomach fat and that’s by eating clean and even better you get 6 meals in a day so you don’t need to starve. Be better for yourself please
