Although the Instagram comments were divided, some offered some interesting insight for this conflicted girly.
One user said: "If you have a problem with your boyfriend calling his mom "mommy", I think you're the one with the issue to fix, not him. It's his mother, why do you care what he calls her?"
Here are more comments from fellow Instagrammers:
- "My boyfriend is turning 31 and does the same thing. There’s nothing wrong. Remember the way he treats his mom, is the way he’ll treat you."
- "mommy chill"
- "Girl do you want to be mommy?"
- "People get “Icks” from everything nowadays"
- " I would get the ick from this too"
- "Since when has the word “mommy” have an expiration date?"
- "Mommy’s boy for life"
