#ComeTogetherForMadiba: Yashna comes to Stacey & JSbu's rescue
Born and bred in KwaZulu-Natal, Yashna Lutchman is a
singer and songwriter who is passionate about the artistry that is music.
The singer is a force to be reckoned with. Her soulful voice is beyond her years and her lyrics speak to the maturity of the young yet very experienced artist.
When JSbu challenged Stacey to record a song, he may have for a moment forgotten the daunting task that lay ahead. Not only were the duo set to record a song, but it was also to be Stacey Norman's first deep dive into being a musician. Stacey & JSbu were to take on the task of doing a really great song that KZN would fall in love with and that would pay special tribute to Nelson Mandela.
Stacey says yes to JSbu to release a song together for the #ComeTogetherForMadiba virtual event that will be held Saturday, 18 July at 10:00am!

This is when Yashna came to the rescue with her song-writing prowess. Yashna graciously offered her services to Stacey & JSbu to help be able to put their thoughts in writing to finish this song. Like most songwriters, the process of writing music almost always starts with a melody and music.
JSbu, who has collaborated with Yashna on his new single ‘Energy’, had no doubt that Yashna would deliver the right lyrics to the beat that he created for the song.
Yashna was able to
write the song for #ComeTogetherForMadiba in just a day, which was very helpful
for the very tight deadline that Stacey & JSbu had set for themselves.
Stacey and JSbu caught up with Yashna on the show to take us through the writing process and her excitement for the #ComeTogetherForMadiba virtual event.
