Checkers is taking its popular Sixty60 delivery service to the next level with the launch of a new e-commerce website.

This move opens up the convenience of Sixty60 to even more shoppers, who can now order online using their favourite browser on any device.

The new website is a game-changer for Huawei users, who can now shop on Sixty60 for the first time. With over 2.6 million Huawei users in South Africa, this is a significant expansion of the Sixty60 customer base.

The website has been in beta testing for several months, with Checkers fine-tuning performance and usability before the official launch. The result is a seamless shopping experience that mirrors the Sixty60 app.

Customers can browse and select from a vast range of products, including over 10,000 larger general merchandise items. Orders can be tracked in real time and delivery is available in as little as 60 minutes, within precise time slots.

According to Shoprite Holdings, the website offers a consistent shopping experience across devices, with accounts and shopping baskets synced in real time. This means that customers can shop on desktop, mobile, tablet, or smart TV, with a seamless user journey.

Existing Sixty60 customers can log in to the site using their mobile number, while new users can sign up quickly and easily.

As a bonus, new users are automatically signed up for the Checkers Xtra Savings rewards programme, unlocking exclusive deals and premium rewards.

Checkers has prioritised security, using a one-time password (OTP) system to ensure safe logins and transactions.
