We're talking about 'Come Dine With Me', of course.
The show, originally a BBC production that had its humble beginnings in England, was an instant hit when it came to South Africa and was filled with local flavour, literally.

Viewers are religiously tuning in as the show travels across the country and joins a bunch of strangers as they take turns creating delicious (or occasionally questionable) meals for each other in the hopes of winning the grand prize of R10,000.
For six seasons the show has kept SA entertained with many hilarious, cringe, and iconic moments.

Season seven is set to be more exciting than ever with even more surprises heading for the new batch of contestants.

The show is currently broadcasting part two of their sixth season on BBC Lifestyle every Wednesday at 20h00 and the next season will be airing at the end of the year.
Applications have officially opened today, the 12th of May, and any South African residents are more than welcome to enter.
