Bridal couples have engaged in some out-of-this-world theatrics on their wedding day

From getting married while skydiving to setting their wedding attire on fire, most couples want to go over and beyond; it is the most important day of a person's life after all.

A couple who got a fiery surprise at their wedding without planning it were shocked when they discovered the bride's dress had caught alight.

After the wedding, as the couple walked the aisle as a married couple, the guests were given paper streamers to throw at them.

But the wedding planning team needed to have thought this through properly. The wedding aisle was decorated with floating candles, and the candles on the floor engulfed the paper streamers, causing the fire to start under the bride's train.

It looked like a passionate kiss that started the fire, but it was scary as guests rushed to extinguish the flames. No floating candles are allowed on the aisle; safety comes first. Luckily, no one was hurt.
