BREAKING: Cape Town is the baby-making capital of the world
Updated | By Stacey & J Sbu
New additions to the family are coming at a cost for Cape Town after being dubbed the baby-making capital...
Cape Town has taken a world win... but this time for a very shocking reason.
Cape Town, known for being on of the most upmarket, trendy, and advanced places in Africa, has been dubbed the "baby-making capital of the world."
According to the DC Jewellery's Cities of Love 2022 research, there are 20 births per 1,000 in the Mother City.

South Africa is known for having a high rate of reproduction but this news comes as a shock to Mzansi.
TimesLive reports that: "The research looks at the most loving cities about the world, looking into the 100 most popular tourist destinations."
“Hopefully, we don't have to explain to you what birth rates have to do with how loving a city is,” the report joked.
Despite Nick Cannon coming in hot for the number one spot in the “baby-making Olympics”, he has nothing on Cape Town.
Just behind Cape Town is Istanbul in second place with a birth rate of 16 births per 1,000 people.

The next time you head to CT, make sure to take note of how many babies you spot along the coast.
The odds are definitely in your favour...
