Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan and son Abhishek test positive for COVID-19
Bollywood legend and star, Amitabh Bachchan has taken to social media to confirm that he has tested positive for COVID-19.
Amitabh shared on his Instagram page the following post:
The Bollywood legend was admitted to Nanavati Hospital on Saturday evening. Amitabh urged all those who came in contact with him in the last ten days to please go and get tested.
As expected the news of the actors positive test results were met with streams of messages from industry peers and millions of fans who wished the veteran a speedy recovery. The son of Amitabh, Abhishek has also tested positive and just like his father he himself took to social media to share the news:
Earlier today both my father and I tested positive for COVID 19. Both of us having mild symptoms have been admitted to hospital. We have informed all the required authorities and our family and staff are all being tested. I request all to stay calm and not panic. Thank you. 🙏🏽
