Friendships provide significant social support and opportunities for social connection, and having friendships is connected with mental well-being, happiness, and decreased social loneliness.
According to specialist Lori Harde: "A million factors go into a lifelong friendship and no two friendships are alike, but there is one key thing that all ride-or-die friendships have in common – crystal clear communication."
The main factor is having open communication despite change and evolution throughout the years.
