Back To School 2024: What were you known for in high school?
Updated | By Stacey & J Sbu
Where did you matriculate?
Is it just us or was Back To School 2024 on overdrive this year?
We say that with a kind heart and love. All this talk got us reminiscing about school.
J Sbu was happy to share some details from his schooling career. He shared that he matriculated at Seatides Combined School in 2009. It does feel like a while ago for him - but we are certain not everyone is comfortable with sharing the year they graduated...
It's a big age reveal...
Like most people, J Sbu admitted that high school was a turning point for him.
It changes something in you. He was known for most of his high school career as the naughty kid. He was the kid who sat at the back of the class and made noise.
He didn't bother himself with his education but he remembers coming to his Matric year thinking he needed to change course and he did.
I was known as the fun guy, the lover of people. Much like now. Great vibes, and loved to see people smile, be happy and have a great time, it was fantastic. I am grateful even though I was bullied, that happens to everybody. But look at me now, I've turned out to be a really great man, a great father but I am grateful for every experience I went through in high school. It wasn't the perfect high school experience, there's no such thing as the perfect high school experience. I really, really enjoyed how mine has carved me into the man that I am today.- J Sbu
