Are these houses built around tombstones a "waste of money"?

Mzansi is divided over this latest funeral fiasco...
One man took to Twitter to share an "over-the-top tombstone" that has left Mzansi in shock, horror, and even disbelief.
South Africans have been erecting small houses around tombstones to dignify and pay tribute to loved ones.
Here is the post that started the conversation:

In recent times, the cost of funerals has skyrocketed.
These small houses are being described as "frivolous and unnecessary" by many people around South Africa.
Here are some of the comments both in favour and against this tradition:
- "For my parents, I would even do a tower. That’s where our loved ones are sleeping. It’s not a waste of money for me. This is the symbol of love."
- "This is just a waste of money, bro. Black families spend a fortune on funeral arrangements and the funeral itself but won't give you that kind of money to start a business while you're still alive."
- "How do they even allow you to take soo much space?"
- "Next time there will be a car's parked next to this tombstones cause it's like the ghost have things to do at night. They are not resting in peace.."
- "They are no longer down there as you say it , they died and rot after that . Sheltering nothing is a waste of money.'

One listener shared how army workers used to be buried like this in the past.
While Mzansi debates how people should/shouldn't be buried, we will keep our eyes peeled on this feisty comments section.
