But banana tea for sleep, really?
Well, it might be worth it, because with a lot us of going through the most, the stress of the pandemic keeping life on hold, and our mental health being on the rocks, then this might be the answer we've all been looking for.
The trend has become so popular it has gathered some high-profile supporters, so it may well be worth a try.
I'm sure you are all asking what's so special about banana tea?
Well, health experts say that when taken about an hour before bed, it can help calm the nervous system and help the body prepare for deep sleep. This is because banana peels contain potassium and magnesium, which are natural muscle relaxants. At least you now know how to attack those sleepless nights...
Want to know how to make this amazing tea?
Take a pot, add some water, and boil a whole banana with or without the peel. Turn off the heat and remove the fruit, then you can add your regular black tea or green tea to the blend and your banana tea is ready.
Time to sleep like a baby...
