"The braai show is mine!" - AKA
The Braai Show, which is aired on SABC, has been under siege since AKA challenged them for ownership rights.
Rapper AKA, Kiernan Forbes, has just won the arbitration battle against Makhuducom Media.

Allegedly, the Braai show tried to pull a fast one on rapper AKA last year but he clapped back by by filing a lawsuit and then took to his social media to share the outcome of the proceedings that were in his favour.
How the "beef" started is due to a change in show hosts. Cassper Nyovest was announced as the new host of The Braai Show without AKA's knowledge.

He was in no way consulted or informed when Cassper was given the job.
AKA was the host of the SABC 1 show and due to personal reasons he was unable to continue his hosting duties.
Despite this, AKA still had a right to know what was going to happen.
Therefore, he took Makhuducom Media, a company that produces the show for SABC 1, to the Arbitration Foundation of Southern Africa (AFSA) “to enforce his rights arising out of the partnership agreement concluded by the parties”.

They are rivals and the internet knows this so it stung even more when AKA found out that his rival was taking his crown out from under him.
This sneak attack was unforgivable in his eyes and AKA did not let the media company get away with it...
In an proceeding issued on Saturday, AFSA declared that partnership between two parties , Makhudu Media and AKA, was valid.
AFSA further stated that the defendant, Makhuducom Media, was in breach of the partnership agreement between the parties.
The AFSA award read: “The defendant is in breach of the partnership agreement. The claimant has made out a case for a final interdict. The claimant is entitled to benefit from the fruits arising from and in relation to exploitation of jointly owned copyright. The claimant is entitled to the profits released in the exploitation of the jointly owned intellectual property.” (AFSA)

In a statement, AKA confirmed that was he has been saying is true. The braai show is his...well 50% of it.
The ironic this is that Cassper actually working for his AKA now, right?
You know what they say-keep your friends close and enemies closer.
So many fans are at the edge of their seats wondering what's next.
Some users have stated:
- "It's going to be a hectic week!"
- "When you ask to speak to the manager and you are the manager."
- "This is gonna be fun" and "lmao Cassper going crazy after this."
We can't wait to see the develops of what's to come in the next few weeks and how the braai show will transform or maintain it's original integrity.
Stay tuned.
