100 men vs 1 gorilla: The debate plaguing the internet
Updated | By Stacey & J Sbu
Social media users are losing their minds over a hypothetical
situation, and we'd like to know where you stand. Answer our poll and tell
us – who do you think would win in a fight between 100 men and one
gorilla?

Have you heard about the debate that’s taking the world by storm? Well, it might catch you a tad bit off guard.
The hypothetical question is: Could 100 men defeat one gorilla in a fight?
According to Nat Geo Kids, adult male gorillas can be over 10 times stronger than the average human.
Speaking to Forbes, president and CEO and chief scientific officer for the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund, Tara Stoinski shared that even if the humans won the fight, most wouldn't walk away alive.
Stoinski spoke about the numbers game and touched on the human ability to coordinate, multitask and strategise.
On social media, support has been swaying from the men to the gorilla.
TikTok content creator Gino the Ghost had a pretty graphic description of what he believes would happen in this hypothetical situation.

Speaking about the idea that humans have the advantage of strategy, Gino said, “I don’t care what plan you have going in, as soon as that gorilla clubs a man in the face and punches through his face, the whole plan goes out the window.”
A simulation of the wild debate has gone viral on X, garnering an impressive 15 million views:

While we hope people don’t take Mr Beast up on his offer, we do hope the debate can be settled, preferably using AI so no animals are injured over human curiosity.
