It’s safe to say that gender reveals, and gender reveal parties are out of hand.

From hot air balloons that change colour to people shooting guns with powder bullets that explode and become blue or pink, the whole thing is crazy.

The money and effort spent on revealing something as rudimental as, it’s a boy or a girl, hardly seems worth the effort.

This coupled with the fact that children could grow up to not even conform to those gender roles, makes a compelling argument against gender reveals.

But a new clip has surfaced that taps into what having babies and gender reveals are really about. That it is a personal experience and about starting on a new journey.

An American teen posted this clip of how her father revealed the gender of their child to his pregnant wife and well, grab the tissues.

The man compiled clips from his wife’s dad, who had passed away and used them to reveal the baby was, in fact, a girl.
