Uzalo actress's weave 'feels the heat' during interview
Somebody call the fire brigade! A South African actress' hair caught on fire during a television interview.
The cast of South Africa's most popular TV soapie, Uzalo was on a roadshow this past week.
This saw favourites such as Dawn Thandeka King, Nay Maps, Baby Cele, Khaya Dladla, and Masoja Msiza travel across Johannesburg for a week full of PR.
Amongst the crew was Nokuthula Mabika, who plays Thobile as the good girl in the series. What started off as a fun interview ended in flames when Mabika and other crew members posed for a picture, only to have her weave catch on fire.
When the Durban-based actress realised her hair was on fire, she did something which cannot be ignored.
She posted a video of the incident on her Instagram captioned: "So this is what happened during my interview 😂😂😂😂 candles must fall 😩😂😂😂." The video has been viewed over 44,000 times.

Well, it's safe to say that this interview was one for the record books. We're glad that it didn't end too badly for Nokuthula.
