Relationships are an interesting and crazy thing. When you are in one you always think it will work out for the best and you give your all to your partners.
Often as human beings we have different life experiences and one of the best and most important aspects of a relationship is teaching each other new things.
You learn and grow together and through what you learn from your partner you become empowered and often this makes you love them more.
But just as often, things don’t work out and you end up regretting the time and effort you spent helping that person develop.
I know I for one hate the fact that I taught my ex how to be a better human being and it grates my carrots when I hear our mutual friends talk about what a great person he has suddenly become.
