Sindisiwe Manqele gets 12 years for Flabba's murder

The murder case against Flabba's girlfriend has been concluded.

Flabba

Just a year over after Nkululeko "Flabba" Habedi's death, Sindisiwe Manqele has been sentenced to 12 years in prison for murder.

Sindisiwe stabbed the rapper to death in March 2015, after an alleged fight.

Following the incident last year, Sunday World reported that the lovers started fighting at The Sands, a nightclub in Sandton, Johannesburg.

Police officers, who did not want to be named, told the paper that Sindisiwe slapped Flabba at The Sands after accusing him of flirting with his ex-girlfriend.

One officer told the paper that the woman, who is being charged with murder, got angry when she saw the rapper constantly taking a break to chat to the woman.

She reportedly confronted him, asking him why he disrespected her by getting cosy with his ex in her presence. "The two argued over this and she slapped him," the cop told the publication.

Family spokesperson Tshepang Habedi said his brother was stabbed once in the heart.
