Knowing what you know now, would you have waited for your first time?
Remember Madonna's classic Like a Virgin? Well, that was ringing in Thandolwethu's head after her cousin had her tag along to a meeting with a very interesting group of women.
So I recently had a very interesting conversation with a group of women. Trust me, I don't hold back when it comes to certain issues, so when I heard this, I immediately knew that I had to talk about it on-air.
The group of women revealed to me that they are practicing celibacy and refer to themselves as 'born again virgins' – no joke here, guys!
After the meeting, I met three individuals who claim to be virgins, and as you can imagine, I asked all the clichéd questions. The first and most important one which came to my mind was: 'Why are you still a virgin?' They then flipped the script on me and asked a question that had me thinking. Knowing what I know now, would I have saved myself and waited for the 'right time'?
