Is a luxury car too extravagant for an 18-year-old?
It is customary for parents to reward their children for their achievements, especially when it comes to schooling excellence, but is purchasing a million-Rand car too extravagant?
A huge debate broke out on social media when the former Minister of Police, Fikile Mbalula, shared this video:

According to Times Live, the man in the video who was seen covering the eyes of this 18-year-old girl is Tombstone Entrepreneur, Lebohang Khitsane.

It seems that the video was taken by some of her classmates, who captured the moment between father and daughter as he gifted her with her birthday present - a top of the range white Porsche.

You're my enemy, you drive a Porsche. I buy same model for my 18yr old child (or even my Gardener) so I can tell you how "beneath me" your car is. It's an ego boosting game!
