Honouring one's last dying wish

This is the predicament that is facing Thandolwethu's friend following her mom's death. At the reading of the will, it was revealed that Thandolwethu's friend would inherit all of her late mother's assets - leaving her two siblings with nothing. The two siblings are not pleased, one of whom is a drug addict.
Should she honour her mom's wishes? Surely there must be a reason she was added to the will and not her two siblings? Also, what are the legalities surrounding this?
