#DearDiary: The fear of revealing the secret

Dear Diary is looking forward to being reunited with her extended family and to share stories with each other.

One of the things that she is not looking forward to however is the news that she plans to share her secret with her grandmother's sister.

'Hi gran, I can't wait to see you and the rest of the family, I am hoping we can get a moment to chat alone once I arrive', she said to her great-aunt in a text message.

Dear Diary has played out two scenario's in her head of how their conversation will go once she shares the news that she has been having an affair.

Scenario number one involves a very violent exchange between her and her grandmother. On the other hand, she is afraid that her grandmother could go into a state of shock after hearing the news.
