#DearDiary: Prepping for the in-laws
#DearDiary is a new feature on #EastCoastUrban which follows the life of one young wife through her diary entries. In episode four, #DearDiary reveals that she and her husband had a legal ceremony and a small get together with friends to make their marriage official. In this episode, she reveals plans for the big white wedding.
#DearDiary is excited for her plans for her big white wedding - emphasises on 'her' dream wedding. She is adamant that the wedding, as is custom, should always be about the bride. There is one problem though... her in-laws. They are very traditional and expect to be very much part of the white wedding plans, from start to finish.
Her husband, in turn, shows zero interest in preparations for the big day. In this episode, #DearDiary is anticipating the arrival of her in-laws who are coming over for a family dinner that they expect to be prepared by their makoti of course... #DearDiary however has other ideas.
