#DearDiary: A lunch date should not hurt, right?

#DearDiary follows the journey of a young KwaZulu-Natal wife. In episode 14, #DearDiary shares with us the developing routine she has formed with her crush.
#DearDiary has now had the big white and traditional wedding. You will recall that the crush was meant to attend the traditional ceremony. He later decided to not attend, claiming that he could not bare to see her in the arms of another man - her husband.

In this episode, we hear how #DearDiary is adjusting to married life after spending a week with her in-laws. Culturally, once the white and traditional wedding has taken place, the bride is to spend some time at the groom's family home. Some of the duties expected of the bride is: preparing all meals, cleaning and looking after the family home. You will recall that #DearDiary does not necessarily have the dream daughter-in-law relationship with her husband's parents. Their relationship has improved however.

#DearDiary and her husband seem to be in a good place. She is however still in constant communication with the crush. So much so that they now have a routine of their daily communication. The crush wants to meet up for lunch, this will be their first meeting with just the two of them. #DearDiary has agreed.
