Chris Forrest: I was the only white comedian in an all-black lineup
Updated | By Bongani Mtolo
Bongani managed to catch up with the South African comedian-turned-television-host ahead of the Savanna On Fire Durban Comedy Week, which takes place between 26 and 29 April.
Chris Forrest is a name that many recognise. He has been one of South Africa's leading men in the comedy industry since the 1990s.

His wit and dry sense of humour have made him popular amongst many in the comedy scene. He has worked in many different facets of comedy, including radio, improv, stand-up, and now even television as a host on SABC 3's show, 'Is That A Fact'.
He recently joined Bongani for a quick catch up ahead of his headline performance at the Savannah On Fire Durban Comedy Week. As expected, the interview had a good few laughs about his career, his life as a father, and he even got a chance to reminisce about a comedy festival hosted by East Coast Radio way back when.
