Cheating: gender roles
Updated | By Thandolwethu
On Monday's show, Thandolwethu shared the social and cultural stereotypes re: cheating and posed the following question: Would life be so much easier if women just accepted that all men cheat?
This topic was sparked by comedian Kevin Hart and a friend of Thandolwethu's. Hart has been embroiled in a sex tape cheating scandal once again and Thandolwethu's friend is dealing with her partners infidelity. Thandolwethu's female friends were adamant that she should not accept this (infidelity) and end things with her partner as this is not his first transgression.
Whereas Thandolwethu's male friends had a different view. They believe that, ''Women's lives would be so much easier if they accepted that all men cheat- that a man will go out there and cheat but still come home to you...men are built this way''.

The men of KZN shared their views - some were completely against this assumption that all men cheat. The women also shared their lived experiences.
Listen in and share your views.
Honestly speaking I have only been cheated on twice. I was a big believer in that some men cheat for sport- when he says to you it was just physical, he could really mean that. Whereas as women we are more emotional.- Thandolwethu
