Actor Motlatsi Mafatshe opens up about new movie, 'Love Lives Here'

The actor who is known for his role as Sechaba on 'Isidingo' is one of the leads in a new local romcom.

Motlatsi Mafatshe needs no introduction to local TV fans. He has been on our screens for over a decade and giving us laughs.
He, along with Thando Thabethe, Lungile Radu, Zola Nombona and KZN’s own Nomalanga, are the stars of new local comedy 'Love Lives Here'.
The story, which is set in Durban, is about a young woman’s quest for love. She gets caught up in modern and traditional ideas for romance. The movie further explores different types of relationships and how we ultimately navigate love, sex, and relationships.
Motlatiso spoke to Damon about what makes this movie unique, calling it a truly African rom-com.
He also shared some behind-the-scenes info and talked about having a blast on Florida Road during production.
The movie opens in cinemas on the 5th of April.
