I recently caught up with Banele Christopher Ndala, who is a Brand Media Strategist and a Social Media Manager.
At the age of 24, Banele has made a success out of fashionably trending on social media.
In a recent interview on #PlayLocal, Banele unpacks the 2019 Durban July theme, "Stars of Africa", and further shares tips on how to reach a bigger audience on social media.

Here are just a few of his tips on how to reach a bigger audience on social media:
- Don't just take a fabulous picture and post it online, rather create content around your picture or video that people will find interesting
- Find relevant hashtags on the day or follow trending hashtags and be part of the bigger picture
- Ensure picture quality is up to standard
- Show people what they want
From this interview, I've discovered 4IR can create new job titles and sustain growth. I intend on experimenting with this formula to attract more audience and be an influencer, which I heard pays well too - as a plus!
